Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا لَيْثٌ، وَأَبُو النَّضْرِ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ الْقُرَشِيُّ ثُمَّ التَّيْمِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي نَهِيكٍ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَتَغَنَّ بِالْقُرْآنِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Sa"d bin Abi Waqqas, from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), that
He said: "He is not one of us who does not recite the Qur"an in a nice voice.”
