Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي غَلابٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ، فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ وقَالَ عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ: " كَثِيرٌ - يَعْنِي - وَالثُّلُثُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Muhammad bin Sa’d bin Malik, from his father, that:
the Prophet (ﷺ) entered upon him... and he narrated a similar report. And "Abdus-Samad said: "A lot," meaning one third.
