Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهُ: " إِنَّكَ مَهْمَا أَنْفَقْتَ عَلَى أَهْلِكَ مِنْ نَفَقَةٍ فَإِنَّكَ تُؤْجَرُ فِيهَا، حَتَّى اللُّقْمَةَ تَرْفَعُهَا إِلَى فِي امْرَأَتِكَ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from "Amir bin Sa"d (رضي الله عنه) from his father, that
The Prophet (ﷺ) said to him: "Whatever you spend on your family of maintenance, you will be rewarded for, even the morsel that you lift to your wife"s mouth.”
