حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْهَاشِمِيُّ، أَخْبََرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، (٢)، ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ، قَالَ: لَقَدْ " رَأَيْتُ عَنْ يَمِينِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ، رَجُلَيْنِ عَلَيْهِمَا ثِيَابٌ بِيضٌ يُقَاتِلانِ عَنْهُ كَأَشَدِّ الْقِتَالِ، مَا رَأَيْتُهُمَا قَبْلُ وَلا بَعْدُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas said:
On the day of Uhud, I saw on the right of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and on his left, two men in white garments who were fighting to defend him in the fiercest manner, I have never seen them before or since.
