حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ:، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنِ الصِّيَامِ فِي السَّفَرِ، فَحَدَّثَهُ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: غَزَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَزْوَتَيْنِ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ: يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ، وَيَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ، فَأَفْطَرْنَا فِيهِمَا (٢) .،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from ‘Umar bin al-Khattab رضي الله عنه that he said:
We went out on two campaigns with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during the month of Ramadan, the day of Badr and the conquest (of Makkah), and we broke the fast in both cases.
