حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ الْحَبْحَابِ، وَعَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ صُهَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَعْتَقَ صَفِيَّةَ، وَجَعَلَ عِتْقَهَا صَدَاقَهَا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) freed Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her), daughter of Huyayy, and made her freedom itself her dowry.
