حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَتَى عَلَى رَجُلٍ يَسُوقُ بَدَنَةً، قَالَ: " ارْكَبْهَا "، قَالَ: إِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ، قَالَ: " ارْكَبْهَا "، قَالَ: إِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ، قَالَ: " وَيْحَكَ - أَوْ وَيْلَكَ - ارْكَبْهَا " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) passed by a man who was driving a sacrificial animal. The Prophet (ﷺ) told him to ride it. He said, "This is a sacrificial animal." The Prophet (ﷺ) told him two or three times to ride it.
