حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ،، ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ مِنْ دُعَاءِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لَا يَنْفَعُ، وَقَلْبٍ لَا يَخْشَعُ، وَدُعَاءٍ لَا يُسْمَعُ، وَنَفْسٍ لَا تَشْبَعُ، اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ هَؤُلَاءِ الْأَرْبَعِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to supplicate: "O Allah! I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, a heart that does not humble, a supplication that is not heard, and a soul that is not satisfied. O Allah! I seek refuge in You from these four things."
