Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) sent Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) towards Makkah Mukarramah with Surah Bara’ah, but when he reached near Dhul-Hulaifah, the Prophet (ﷺ) sent word to him that according to the custom of the Arabs, this message can only be delivered by me or a member of my family. Thus, the Prophet (ﷺ) sent Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) with that message.
