Original Arabic
وَأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ: " رَاصُّوا صُفُوفَكُمْ، (٣) وَقَارِبُوا بَيْنَهَا، وَحَاذُوا بَيْنَ الْأَعْنَاقِ، فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ، إِنِّي لَأَرَى الشَّيْطَانَ يَدْخُلُ مِنْ خَلَلِ الصَّفِّ كَأَنَّهُ الْحَذَفُ " (٤)،
Translation
English translation
And the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Make your rows straight and close together, join your shoulders, for by the One in Whose hand is my soul, I see that devils slip in between the rows like small sheep."
