حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ: " أَنَّ عُمُومَةً لَهُ شَهِدُوا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى رُؤْيَةِ الْهِلَالِ، فَأَمَرَ النَّاسَ أَنْ يُفْطِرُوا، وَأَنْ يَخْرُجُوا إِلَى عِيدِهِمْ مِنَ الْغَدِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that one of his uncles testified before the Prophet (ﷺ) about sighting the moon of Eid. The Prophet (ﷺ) ordered the people to break their fast and said that they should go out for the Eid prayer the next day.
