حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ الْمَدِيِنِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي بِلالُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا رَأَى الْهِلالَ، قَالَ: " اللهُمَّ أَهِلَّهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالْيُمْنِ وَالْإِيمَانِ، وَالسَّلامَةِ وَالْإِسْلامِ، رَبِّي وَرَبُّكَ اللهُ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
Bilal bin Yahya bin Talhah bin "Ubaidullah narrated, from his father, from his grandfather that
When the Prophet (ﷺ) saw the new moon, he would say: "O Allah, bring it over us with blessing and faith, and with soundness and Islam. My Lord and your Lord is Allah.”
