Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: لَأُحَدِّثَنَّكُمْ (٢) حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قَالَ: " يَذْهَبُ الرِّجَالُ، وَيَبْقَى النِّسَاءُ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that I will tell you a hadith which I heard from the Prophet (ﷺ) and after me, no one will narrate it to you. I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say that among the signs of the Day of Judgment is that the number of men will decrease and the number of women will increase.
