Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) sent some dates placed in a tray to the Prophet (ﷺ). The Prophet (ﷺ) took a handful from it and sent it to one of his noble wives, then took another handful and sent it to another noble wife, and then whatever remained, he sat and ate from it in such a manner that it was apparent that the Prophet (ﷺ) desired them at that time.
