حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُثَنَّى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ: " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يَخْضِبْ قَطُّ، إِنَّمَا كَانَ الْبَيَاضُ فِي مُقَدَّمِ لِحْيَتِهِ، وَفِي الْعَنْفَقَةِ قَلِيلًا، وَفِي الرَّأْسِ نَبْذٌ يَسِيرٌ، لَا يَكَادُ يُرَى "، وَقَالَ الْمُثَنَّى: " وَالصُّدْغَيْنِ (١) " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) never applied dye. There were a few white hairs in the front part of his beard, above the chin, in his head, and on his temples, which were not very noticeable.
