حَدَّثَنَا نُوحُ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ يَعْنِي الْعُمَرِيَّ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: " شَهِدْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلِيمَتَيْنِ لَيْسَ فِيهِمَا خُبْزٌ وَلَا لَحْمٌ "، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا أَبَا حَمْزَةَ، أَيُّ شَيْءٍ فِيهِمَا؟ قَالَ: " الْحَيْسُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that I have attended such wedding feasts of the Prophet (ﷺ) in which there was neither bread nor meat. The narrator says, I asked, O Abu Hamza! Then what was there? He replied, sweet dish (halwa).
