حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ،، ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ: قَالَ: أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَأَقْبَلَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِوَجْهِهِ، فَقَالَ: " أَقِيمُوا صُفُوفَكُمْ وَتَرَاصُّوا، فَإِنِّي أَرَاكُمْ مِنْ وَرَاءِ ظَهْرِي " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that one day the prayer was established, so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) turned towards us and said: "Straighten your rows and stand close together, for I see you from behind me." Hadith number (12463) is also narrated through this second chain.
