حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ الْمُعَلَّى بْنِ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ صَلَّى الْعَصْرَ، فَجَلَسَ يُمْلِي خَيْرًا حَتَّى يُمْسِيَ، كَانَ أَفْضَلَ مِنْ عِتْقِ ثَمَانِيَةٍ مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever offers the Asr prayer, then sits and dictates good words until evening comes, this is better than freeing eight slaves from among the descendants of Ismail (peace be upon him).
