حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي نَمِرٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: " مَا صَلَّيْتُ وَرَاءَ إِمَامٍ قَطُّ أَخَفَّ وَلَا أَتَمَّ صَلَاةً مِنْ (٣) رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ "، (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that I have not prayed behind any imam lighter and more complete prayer than the Prophet (ﷺ). Sometimes the Prophet (ﷺ), upon hearing the cry of a child, would shorten the prayer, fearing that the child's mother might be distressed.
