Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once on a Friday, someone said to the Prophet (ﷺ), "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! Please pray for rain." The Prophet (ﷺ) supplicated for rain. At the time when he (ﷺ) raised his blessed hands, we could not see any clouds in the sky, but when the rain started, it did not seem to stop. When the next Friday came, the same person said, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! Please pray for the rain to stop." Upon hearing this, the Prophet (ﷺ) prayed to Allah, and I saw that the clouds dispersed to the right and left, and not a single drop was falling inside Madinah.
