Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the blessed era of the Prophet (ﷺ), there was once a drought. On a Friday, while the Prophet (ﷺ) was delivering the sermon, a Bedouin stood up and said, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! The wealth is being destroyed and the children are hungry. Please pray to Allah to bless us with rain." Upon hearing this, the Prophet (ﷺ) raised his hands and supplicated for rain. At the time when the Prophet (ﷺ) raised his blessed hands, we could not see any clouds in the sky. Then clouds like mountains appeared, and the Prophet (ﷺ) had not even descended from the pulpit when we saw rainwater dripping from his blessed beard... Then the narrator mentioned the entire hadith.
