حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ،، ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِأَخٍ لِي لِيُحَنِّكَهُ فِي الْمِرْبَدِ، قَالَ: " فَرَأَيْتُهُ يَسِمُ شِيَاهًا - أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ: - فِي آذَانِهَا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that once he came to the service of the Prophet (ﷺ) to have his brother given tahneek, and saw that the Prophet (ﷺ) was branding the ear of a goat.
