Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ الْبُنَانِيُّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ: " اللهُمَّ إِنَّكَ (٣) إِنْ تَشَأْ لَا تُعْبَدْ فِي الْأَرْضِ " (٤)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day of the Battle of Uhud, the supplication of the Prophet (ﷺ) was: O Allah! Do You wish that after today, You are not worshipped?
