حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، وَبَهْزٌ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ: " أَنَّ رَجُلًا رُفِعَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ سَكِرَ، فَأَمَرَ قَرِيبًا مِنْ عِشْرِينَ رَجُلًا فَجَلَدَهُ كُلُّ رَجُلٍ جَلْدَتَيْنِ بِالْجَرِيدِ، ، وَالنِّعَالِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a man who was intoxicated was brought before the Prophet (ﷺ). The Prophet (ﷺ) ordered about twenty men, and each of them struck him with two branches or shoes.
