Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِنَّ لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ أَمِينًا، وَإِنَّ أَمِينَ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Every nation has a trustworthy one, and Abu Ubaidah is the trustworthy one of this nation."
