حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: أَقْبَلْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ مِنْ بَعْضِ أَسْفَارِهِ، فَلَمَّا بَدَا لَنَا أُحُدٌ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " هَذَا جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ " ، فَلَمَّا أَشْرَفَ عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ، قَالَ: " اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أُحَرِّمُ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا مِثْلَ مَا حَرَّمَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ مَكَّةَ، اللهُمَّ بَارِكْ فِي مُدِّهِمْ وَصَاعِهِمْ " (١)
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) was returning from Khaybar. When the Uhud mountain came into view, he said: "This mountain loves us and we love it." Then, when he approached near Madinah, he said: "O Allah! I declare the area between its two mountains as sacred just as Ibrahim (peace be upon him) declared Makkah as sacred. O Allah! Bless their Sa’ and Mudd (measures of weight)."
