Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: " رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتَسْقِي، فَبَسَطَ يَدَيْهِ وَجَعَلَ (٢) ظَاهِرَهُمَا مِمَّا يَلِي السَّمَاءَ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) supplicating for rain, spreading his hands with the upper part of his palms facing towards the sky while making supplication.
