حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، يَنْعَتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَا شَاءَ (٢) أَنْ يَنْعَتَهُ، قَالَ: ثُمَّ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا يَقُولُ: " وَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَبْعَةً مِنَ الْقَوْمِ، لَيْسَ بِالْقَصِيرِ، وَلَا بِالطَّوِيلِ الْبَائِنِ، أَزْهَرَ لَيْسَ بِالْآدَمِ، وَلَا بِالْأَبْيَضِ، الْأَمْهَقِ، (٣) رَجِلَ الشَّعْرِ، لَيْسَ بِالسَّبْطِ، وَلَا الْجَعْدِ الْقَطَطِ، بُعِثَ عَلَى رَأْسِ أَرْبَعِينَ، أَقَامَ بِمَكَّةَ عَشْرًا، وَبِالْمَدِينَةِ عَشْرًا، وَتُوُفِّيَ عَلَى رَأْسِ سِتِّينَ سَنَةً، لَيْسَ فِي رَأْسِهِ وَلِحْيَتِهِ عِشْرُونَ شَعَرَةً بَيْضَاءَ " (٤)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that regarding the blessed appearance of the Prophet (ﷺ), it is narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) was of medium height; his height was neither very short nor very tall. His forehead was radiant, his complexion was wheatish and not completely white. His hair was slightly curly, neither completely straight nor very curly. He was appointed as a Prophet at the age of forty, stayed in Makkah Mukarramah for ten years, resided in Madinah Munawwarah for ten years, and departed from this world at the age of sixty. There were not even twenty white hairs in his head and beard.
