حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَارَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادٌ النُّمَيْرِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، كَانَ إِذَا عَلَا نَشْزًا مِنَ الْأَرْضِ قَالَ: " اللهُمَّ لَكَ الشَّرَفُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَرَفٍ، وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) would ascend a hill or a high place, he would say: O Allah! On every height is Your greatness, and for every praise is Your praise.
