حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْهَاشِمِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ ابْنُ أَخِي ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْكَوْثَرِ، فَقَالَ: " هُوَ نَهَرٌ أَعْطَانِيهِ اللهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، تُرَابُهُ الْمِسْكُ، مَاؤُهُ أَبْيَضُ مِنَ اللَّبَنِ، وَأَحْلَى مِنَ الْعَسَلِ، تَرِدُهُ طَيْرٌ أَعْنَاقُهَا مِثْلُ أَعْنَاقِ الْجُزُرِ، قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّهَا لَنَاعِمَةٌ، فَقَالَ: آَكِلُهَا (١) أَنْعَمُ مِنْهَا " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a person asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about "Kawthar." The Prophet (ﷺ) said that it is the name of a river which my Lord has granted me. Its soil is musk, its water is whiter than milk and sweeter than honey, and in it there will be birds with necks like camels. Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! Then those birds will be very healthy." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Those who eat them will be even healthier than them."
