حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مَالِكًا يُحَدِّثُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ وَعَلَى رَأْسِهِ الْمِغْفَرُ، فَلَمَّا نَزَعَهُ جَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ: ابْنُ خَطَلٍ مُتَعَلِّقٌ بِأَسْتَارِ الْكَعْبَةِ فَقَالَ: " اقْتُلُوهُ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day of the conquest of Makkah, when the Prophet (ﷺ) entered Makkah, he was wearing a helmet. When the Prophet (ﷺ) took it off, someone came and informed him that Ibn Khatal was clinging to the curtains of the Ka'bah. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Even then, kill him."
