Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِلَالٍ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ شَجَرَةً كَانَتْ عَلَى طَرِيقِ النَّاسِ كَانَتْ تُؤْذِيهِمْ، فَأَتَاهَا رَجُلٌ فَعَزَلَهَا عَنْ طَرِيقِ النَّاسِ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ يَتَقَلَّبُ فِي ظِلِّهَا فِي الْجَنَّةِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that there was a tree causing harm to those passing by on the road. A man came and removed it. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: I saw him walking under the shade of the trees in Paradise.
