حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ رُقَيَّةَ لَمَّا مَاتَتْ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا يَدْخُلِ الْقَبْرَ رَجُلٌ قَارَفَ أَهْلَهُ ". فَلَمْ يَدْخُلْ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ الْقَبْرَ (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the daughter of the Prophet (ﷺ), Ruqayyah (may Allah be pleased with her), passed away, the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "No person who was intimate with his wife last night will descend into her grave." Thus, Uthman Ghani (may Allah be pleased with him) did not descend into her grave.
