حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَمَّا صَوَّرَ اللهُ آدَمَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، تَرَكَهُ مَا شَاءَ اللهُ أَنْ يَتْرُكَهُ، فَجَعَلَ إِبْلِيسُ يُطِيفُ بِهِ،، ، وَيَنْظُرُ مَا هُوَ، فَلَمَّا رَآهُ أَجْوَفَ عَرَفَ أَنَّهُ خُلِقَ خُلِقًا (١) لَمْ يَتَمَالَكْ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: When Allah fashioned the figure of Adam (peace be upon him), He left it as it was for some time. Satan would circle around that figure and observe it. When he saw that there was a belly in the middle of this creature’s body, he realized that this creature would not be able to control itself.
