حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، وَحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، الرَّجُلُ يُحِبُّ الْقَوْمَ، وَلَمْ يَبْلُغْ عَمَلَهُمْ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ " قَالَ حَسَنٌ: أَعْمَالَهُمْ قَالَ: " الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ " قَالَ ثَابِتٌ: فَكَانَ أَنَسٌ إِذَا حَدَّثَ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ قَالَ: " اللهُمَّ، ، فَإِنَّا نُحِبُّكَ وَنُحِبُّ رَسُولَكَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man submitted in the presence of the Messenger of Allah, "O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! A man loves a people but does not reach their deeds, so what is the ruling?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "A person will be with those whom he loves." After narrating this hadith, Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say, "O Allah! We love You and Your Messenger."
