Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْعَمِّيُّ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا يَلِجُ حَائِطَ الْقُدُسِ مُدْمِنُ الْخَمْرِ، وَلَا الْعَاقُّ لِوَالِدَيْهِ، وَلَا الْمَنَّانُ عَطَاءَهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: No habitual wine-drinker, disobedient to parents, or one who reminds others of his favors will enter the gardens of Paradise.
