حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ غَزِيَّةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ حُمَيْدَ بْنَ عُبَيْدٍ، مَوْلَى بَنِي الْمُعَلَّى يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ ثَابِتًا الْبُنَانِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِجِبْرِيلَ: " مَا لِي لَمْ أَرَ مِيكَائِيلَ ضَاحِكًا قَطُّ؟ قَالَ مَا ضَحِكَ مِيكَائِيلُ مُنْذُ خُلِقَتِ النَّارُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) asked Jibreel (peace be upon him), "What is the matter, I have never seen Mika'il laughing?" He replied, "Since Hell was created, Mika'il has never laughed."
