حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لَهُ: سَمِعْتَ أَنَسًا يُحَدِّثُ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ مُقَرِّنٍ: " ابْنُ أُخْتِ الْقَوْمِ مِنْهُمْ أَوْ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ " قَالَ: نَعَمْ (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
Shu’bah (may Allah have mercy on him) says: I asked Mu’awiyah bin Qurrah (may Allah have mercy on him), “Did you hear Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) say that the Prophet (ﷺ) said to Nu’man bin Muqarrin (may Allah be pleased with him) that the nephew of a people is counted among them?” He replied, “Yes!”
