Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى أَنْ تُبَاعَ الثَّمَرَةُ حَتَّى تَزْهُوَ، وَعَنِ الْعِنَبِ حَتَّى يَسْوَدَّ، وَعَنِ الْحَبِّ حَتَّى يَشْتَدَّ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade selling fruit before it ripens, grapes before they turn black (into raisins), and wheat before its grain hardens.
