حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي سَلَمَةُ بْنُ وَرْدَانَ، أَنَّ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، صَاحِبَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَأَلَ رَجُلًا مِنْ صَحَابَتِهِ فَقَالَ: " أَيْ فُلَانُ، هَلْ تَزَوَّجْتَ؟ " قَالَ: لَا، وَلَيْسَ عِنْدِي مَا أَتَزَوَّجُ بِهِ، قَالَ: " أَلَيْسَ مَعَكَ قُلْ هُوَ اللهُ أَحَدٌ؟ " قَالَ: بَلَى، قَالَ: " رُبُعُ الْقُرْآنِ " قَالَ: " أَلَيْسَ مَعَكَ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ؟ " قَالَ: بَلَى. قَالَ: " رُبُعُ الْقُرْآنِ ". قَالَ: " أَلَيْسَ مَعَكَ إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ؟ " قَالَ: بَلَى، قَالَ: " رُبُعُ الْقُرْآنِ ". قَالَ: " أَلَيْسَ مَعَكَ إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللهِ؟ " قَالَ: بَلَى. قَالَ: " رُبُعُ الْقُرْآنِ ". قَالَ: " أَلَيْسَ مَعَكَ آيَةُ الْكُرْسِيِّ {اللهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ} [البقرة: ٢٥٥] ؟ " قَالَ: بَلَى. قَالَ: " رُبُعُ الْقُرْآنِ " قَالَ: " تَزَوَّجْ، تَزَوَّجْ، تَزَوَّجْ "، ، ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) asked one of his companions (may Allah be pleased with him): "Have you gotten married?" He replied, "No, I do not have anything because of which I could get married." The Prophet (ﷺ) asked him, "Do you not have 'Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad'?" He replied, "Why not." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "This is a quarter of the Qur'an." Then the Prophet (ﷺ) asked him, "Do you not have Surah Zalzalah?" He replied, "Why not." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "This is a quarter of the Qur'an." Then the Prophet (ﷺ) asked him, "Do you not have Ayat al-Kursi?" He replied, "Why not." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "This is a quarter of the Qur'an." The Prophet (ﷺ) said this three times, then said, "Then get married."
