حَدَّثَنَا عَارِمٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِي، يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: " أَسَرَّ إِلَيَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سِرًّا، فَمَا أَخْبَرْتُ بِهِ أَحَدًا بَعْدَهُ، وَلَقَدْ سَأَلَتْنِي عَنْهُ أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ فَمَا أَخْبَرْتُهَا بِهِ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) confided a secret to me, and I have not disclosed that secret to anyone until today. Even when my mother, Umm Sulaim (may Allah be pleased with her), asked me about it, I did not tell her either.
