Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that after the arrival of the Prophet (ﷺ) in Madinah, people used to give date trees and other property from their wealth to the Prophet (ﷺ), and the Prophet (ﷺ) would distribute them among the people. Until Banu Qurayza and Banu Nadir were conquered, then the Prophet (ﷺ) started returning those trees to their owners. Seeing this, my family instructed me to also go to the service of the Prophet (ﷺ) and request that their family had given two trees. Anyway! Upon my request, the Prophet (ﷺ) returned them to me. Meanwhile, Umm Ayman (may Allah be pleased with her) also came and put a cloth around my neck and said, "By Allah, besides whom there is no deity, the Prophet (ﷺ) can never give you these trees when he has already given them to me." The Prophet (ﷺ) said to her, "You may take so many trees in exchange for them," but she kept refusing, and the Prophet (ﷺ) kept increasing the number of trees, until she was pleased with ten times more trees, and the Prophet (ﷺ) gave them to her.
