حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَعَا عَلَى الَّذِينَ قَتَلُوا أَهْلَ بِئْرِ مَعُونَةَ ثَلَاثِينَ صَبَاحًا: عَلَى رِعْلٍ، وَذَكْوَانَ، (٢) وَلِحْيَانَ، وَبَنِي، ، عُصَيَّةَ عَصَتِ اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ "، وَنَزَلَ فِي ذَلِكَ قُرْآنٌ فَقَرَأْنَاهُ: " بَلِّغُوا عَنَّا قَوْمَنَا أَنَّا قَدْ لَقِينَا رَبَّنَا فَرَضِيَ عَنَّا وَأَرْضَانَا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) supplicated against the tribes of Ri'l, Dhakwan, Banu Lihyan, and 'Usayyah—"who had disobeyed Allah and His Messenger (ﷺ)"—for thirty days. These people had martyred the companions at Bi'r Ma'unah, and regarding this, a verse of the Noble Qur'an was also revealed which we used to recite (then its recitation was abrogated): "Convey from us to our people that we have met our Lord, and He is pleased with us and we are pleased with Him."
