حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي الْعَصْرَ وَالشَّمْسُ بَيْضَاءُ حَيَّةٌ، ثُمَّ يَذْهَبُ الذَّاهِبُ إِلَى العَوَالِي فَيَأْتِيهَا وَالشَّمْسُ مُرْتَفِعَةٌ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to perform the Asr prayer at such a time that if someone wanted to go to Awali after the prayer, he would go and return, and still the sun would be high.
