حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " اعْتَدِلُوا فِي السُّجُودِ، وَلَا يَسْجُدْ أَحَدُكُمْ بَاسِطًا ذِرَاعَيْهِ كَالْكَلْبِ " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Maintain moderation in prostrations, and none of you should spread his hands like a dog.
