حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَصُومُ حَتَّى يُقَالَ: وقَدْ صَامَ، وَيُفْطِرُ حَتَّى يُقَالَ (١) : قَدْ أَفْطَرَ (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) intended to fast, people would inform each other that the Prophet (ﷺ) had made the intention to fast, and when he broke his fast, people would also inform each other that the Prophet (ﷺ) had broken his fast.
