حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، (٣) حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي دُعَائِهِ: " اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ، وَالْهَرَمِ، وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا، وَفِتْنَةِ الْمَمَاتِ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to supplicate: O Allah! I seek refuge in You from laziness, old age, cowardice, miserliness, the trial of Dajjal, and the punishment of the grave.
