حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ،، ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ وَهُوَ مَعْصُوبُ الرَّأْسِ قَالَ: فَتَلَقَّاهُ الْأَنْصَارُ وَنِسَاؤُهُمْ وَأَبْنَاؤُهُمْ، فَإِذَا هُوَ بِوُجُوهِ الْأَنْصَارِ فَقَالَ: " وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنِّي لَأُحِبُّكُمْ " وَقَالَ: " إِنَّ الْأَنْصَارَ قَدْ قَضَوْا مَا عَلَيْهِمْ، وَبَقِيَ مَا عَلَيْكُمْ، فَأَحْسِنُوا إِلَى مُحْسِنِهِمْ، وَتَجَاوَزُوا عَنْ مُسِيئِهِمْ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) went out and met the Ansar. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "By Him in Whose hand is the life of Muhammad (ﷺ), I love you. Accept the good deeds of the righteous among the Ansar and overlook the faults of their sinners, for they have fulfilled their duty and their right remains."
