Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: On the Day of Resurrection, a man from among the people of Hell will be brought who had lived in great luxuries in the world. He will be dipped once in Hell, then it will be asked: O son of Adam! Have you ever seen any good? Has any blessing ever passed by you? He will say: By my Lord! I swear, never. After that, a man from among the people of Paradise will be brought who had lived in great hardships in the world. He will be dipped once in Paradise, and then it will be asked: O son of Adam! Have you ever seen any distress? Has any hardship ever passed by you? He will say: By my Lord! I swear, never. No distress has ever come to me and I have never seen any hardship.
