Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي مَيْمُونَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا خَرَجَ لِلْغَائِطِ، ، أَتَيْتُهُ أَنَا وَغُلَامٌ بِإِدَاوَةٍ وَعَنَزَةٍ، فَاسْتَنْجَى " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) would go to relieve himself, I would present water and the Prophet (ﷺ) would perform istinja with it.
